The 2nd Annual Boots2Books 5K brings back a challenging 5K course and a new "Tough Run" to challenge you and your closest friends. This year we will be holding a night time "glow run" so come out in costume, dress up with glow in the dark accessories and come ready to have a good time!
Food is being donated by Mission BBQ and the first 300 runners to register are guaranteed a free meal, so make sure you register soon to take advantage of the free food, early bird pricing and the guaranteed race shirt.
Registration for the race will be held from 7:00pm until 8:00pm. Make sure that if you are signing up on the day of the race that you are there at the correct time. The starting pistol will sound at 8:20 for our 5k runners and walkers and at 8:30 for those brave enough to challenge their abilities on the Tough Run.
All runners will be required to wear some form of bright colored clothing before they are allowed to run the course. This is a night race and runner safety is our number one concern with this course.
